Leila came back home in bright afternoon, and found a note on her kitchen floor, obviouslt slipped under the door. She opened the folded piece of paper and recognized Mr. Lavyril's handwriting.
"Dear Leila,
It's fair okay that you have not appeared yesterday for an afternoon of tea and muffins. I understand you might have much better things to do than killing time with a middle-aged folk like me.
Anyway, if you have some time today, you can come here any time you wish. The tea will be hot, I'm sure.

Leila woke up at dusk. She cursed herself for losing classes, but thought that, at least, she had good intentions. She giggled, thinking what Gwen would probably say to that. "The road to Hell is paved with good intentions". Gwen, like a stereotypical aunt, had a penchant for quoting popular sayings.
And then she realized it was quite a time since the last visit to Auntie Gwen. She didn't need another note to show he probably was feeling for that, so she walked downstairs to Gwen's apartment.
